Mark Ruffalo jokes about missing from the Avengers: Doomsday trailer as Marvel unveils a massive cast including Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.

Mark Ruffalo, who has himself donned the Hulk guise since 2012 in the MCU, jokingly explained why he was not included in the stern Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal.
The 57-year-old actor slapped his way into MCU history with The Avengers and was conspicuously absent from the star-studded latest trailer.
Asked why his image was not on the new billboard appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Fallon had joked about Ruffalo, saying, "Every time you're on the show, you give a spoiler and get in trouble!"
Ruffalo laughed and said, "They decided it was better to get rid of me than for me to tell the end of the next movie."
Ruffalo's track record for spoilers
This light poke certainly comes as no surprise to Marvel fans. Still promoting Thor: Ragnarok in 2017, the actor proudly aired many of the closely guarded secrets of the then-yet-to-be-released Avengers: Infinity War. He became a lot of memes and jokes from his fellow castmates.
Who are in for sure in Avengers: Doomsday?
While speculation still remains over Ruffalo's presence in the film, the official cast list for the fifth installment of the Avengers franchise does offer a wealth of MCU names. Among the returning cast members, you have:
- Chris Hemsworth, Thor
- Anthony Mackie, Sam Wilson/Captain America
- Sebastian Stan, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier
- Tom Hiddleston, Loki
- Paul Rudd, Ant-Man
They will also be joined by new heroes such as Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Winston Duke as M'Baku, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, and Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, on the side of Patrick Stewart, portraying Professor X.
The film will also bring about the appearance of the Fantastic Four team consisting of Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm.
Joining them will be returning stars Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, and James Marsden as Cyclops.
The scheduled MCU production would have been a massive release if the operation could have somehow seen the dawn of production.
Rumors are there that William Richard Ruffalo might appear in Avengers: Doomsday, although initially not announced to be in the cast. For now, the actor remains coy, giving no spoilers.
