Following its theatrical launch on March 28, Telugu comedy-drama MAD Square, featuring Narne Nithiin and Sangeeth Shobhan, is making its move to digital platforms.
Netflix has officially confirmed the film’s streaming release for April 25, bringing it to audiences in five Indian languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The streaming giant made the announcement through its official Instagram account Friday, sharing a new poster with the tagline: “When friendship meets chaos, it would be MAD Square.”
Directed and written by Kalyan Shankar, the film acts as a sequel to the 2023 hit MAD, catching up with its characters four years after their college life. The plot shifts focus to their present-day struggles with adulthood, as they plan a getaway to Goa in search of respite from their growing personal and professional pressures.
What begins as a planned escape soon evolves into a series of chaotic, humorous events, testing their friendships and decisions. The narrative taps into themes of youth, evolving relationships, and life’s unexpected challenges, resonating well with younger audiences.
Produced by Sai Soujanya, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, and Harika Suryadevara, MAD Square boasts a strong supporting cast including Ram Nitin, Priyanka Jawalkar, Vishnu Oi, Sunil, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Satyam Rajesh.
With its relatable storyline and ensemble performances, the film earned positive feedback from viewers and critics alike during its theatrical run. The digital release on Netflix aims to widen its reach across linguistic audiences, capitalizing on the film’s strong word-of-mouth and genre appeal.
