Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra box office collection day 5 – Kalyani Priyadarshan’s superhero film earns ₹6.65 crore on Monday, crosses ₹30 crore mark in 5 days.
Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra crosses ₹30 crore at the domestic box office in five days despite a Monday dip.

Five days after its release, Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandra has already achieved a significant milestone at the box office. The movie, which features Kalyani Priyadarshan as the first female superhero in Malayalam cinema, has already made over Rs 30 crore.
Since its August 28 release, the Dominic Arun-directed film has held its own against the competition. Even though Monday's box office receipts were lower than usual for a weekday, it still made a respectable Rs 6.65 crore, bringing its total domestic earnings to Rs 31.5 crore.
Strong attendance, especially over the weekend, has contributed to the movie's success. The overall theatre occupancy on Monday was 50.20%, which was a little lower than the 75.25% recorded over the weekend. But throughout the day, foot traffic increased steadily, with night shows attracting the largest crowds—nearly 60%.
Priyadarshan portrays the mysterious Chandra in Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandra, a woman seeking justice who becomes involved with three hapless young men and a powerful police officer. She tries her hardest to avoid trouble, but her path takes an unexpected turn and she finds herself in a risky situation.
The film has been praised for its blend of Indian folklore with a modern superhero narrative, setting the stage for what many hope will be a new cinematic universe in Malayalam cinema.
