Kuberaa Worldwide Box Office: Dhanush-Nagarjuna Starrer Crosses Rs 101 Crore, Eyes Strong Second Weekend

Kuberaa, featuring stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh, has completed its first week at the box office with an impressive global collection exceeding Rs 100 crore. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the film saw better performance in its Telugu version compared to the Tamil version.

Produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Kuberaa collected around Rs 75.50 crore in India and approximately USD 3 million (Rs 26 crore) from overseas markets. This brought the worldwide total to roughly Rs 101 crore by the end of its opening week.

While the film started strong, weekday collections slipped, making the second weekend crucial for maintaining momentum and ensuring a successful theatrical run. The Tamil version, despite featuring Dhanush in the lead role, underperformed in his home market, making Kuberaa one of his weaker releases in Tamil Nadu.

In the Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Kuberaa showed solid numbers, with notable collections in regions like Nizam and Ceded. The film earned significantly less in Tamil Nadu but had moderate success in Karnataka and other parts of India.

All eyes are now on the movie’s performance during the second weekend, with hopes that an upward trend will boost the overall box office tally. Kuberaa’s final success depends largely on its ability to sustain audience interest beyond the initial week.
