Khaleja Re-Release Tickets Sell 13K Per Hour, Surpassing Gabbar Singh

The Telugu film Khaleja, starring Mahesh Babu and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is scheduled for a theatrical re-release on May 30, coinciding with the birth anniversary of veteran actor Superstar Krishna. Initially, the film failed to meet box office expectations and recorded losses during its first run. Over the years, however, it has gained a strong cult following among fans.
Advance ticket sales for the re-release have already begun, showing unprecedented demand. Data from Book My Show reveals that Khaleja is currently selling more than 13,000 tickets every hour. This figure significantly surpasses the previous record held by the re-release of Gabbar Singh, which managed around 5,500 tickets per hour.
Mahesh Babu’s performance in Khaleja, especially in comedic sequences, is considered one of his best. The film's humor continues to resonate with audiences and remains widely shared on social media platforms. Anushka Shetty played the female lead, while Prakash Raj took on the antagonist’s role. Music for the film was composed by Mani Sharma.
