Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 continues to enjoy unbounding box office domination with₹255.75 crores generated in India in merely five days. It has indeed become the highest-distributor Kannada film of 2025, and working through many records ever since its Dussehra release.

As the motion picture entered October 6, 2025, its first weekday, it earned ₹30.50 crore, according to Sacnilk. Though the weekday dip is expected, strong Monday numbers only establish more support for the ongoing audience appeal of this film.

Alongside Rishab Shetty, the film stars Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, and Gulshan Devaiah. Jayaram expressed his excitement after receiving a personal congratulatory message from Mammootty, who praised his performance and called the film a benchmark akin to KGF.

“I’m extremely happy. Mammukka (Mammootty) messaged me personally, saying I was excellent in Kantara. Being part of a 1000-crore benchmark film is a matter of immense pride,” Jayaram told Asianet News.
