Kaantha OTT Release: Dulquer Salmaan’s Thriller Streams Exclusively on Netflix

Dulquer Salmaan paraphernalia, rejoice! His new flick Kaantha has now an official OTT release date! The movie, which was released on November 14, will start its Netflix streaming on December 12. The film will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, so it will be widely watched among the South Indian crowd.

Selvamani Selvaraj directs the movie, which also features Bhagyashri Borse, alongside Samuthirakani and Rana Daggubati in important roles.

Plot Overview

The plot of Kaantha focuses on Ayy (Samuthirakani), a famous director, who is adamant in making a film called Shanta, based on his mother’s life and thus the story goes. Dulquer Salmaan, who is an actor, is the one that decides to co-operate regarding the project, but it soon derails and comes to a halt halfway. Years go by; the film is still held off under the new title: Kaantha.

Explosive battles between the director and the lead actor occur on the set incredibly often putting the heroine Kumari (Bhagyashri Borse) in a position that she has to intervene and continue restoring peace. Just when the film is about to be done, a terrifying murder occurs among the crew and both the director and the hero are viewed as suspects. Inspector Devaraj (Rana Daggubati) is the one that will ultimately bring out the truth.
