Dulquer Salmaan’s Kaantha continued its solid run at the box office on Sunday, earning an estimated ₹4.35 crore India net on Day 3 across Tamil and Telugu versions. With this, the film’s total collection for the opening weekend stands at ₹13.22 crore.

The film performed well over the first two days, collecting ₹4.35 crore on Friday and rising to ₹5 crore on Saturday thanks to strong weekend footfall. Sunday numbers matched the opening day, keeping the film on track for a stable first week.

• Kaantha recorded an overall 26.70% Tamil occupancy on Sunday, November 16.
• Morning shows saw around 16.91% occupancy.
• Afternoon shows jumped to 31.40%.
• Evening shows held strong at 31.16%.
• Night shows remained steady with 27.34% turnout.

Major regions like Chennai, Pondicherry, Coimbatore, Trichy, and Kochi reported healthy occupancy, with Chennai leading at around 37%.

Kaantha Day 3 Telugu Occupancy

The Telugu version posted a moderate yet stable 16.96% occupancy on Day 3.

• Morning shows clocked 12.32%.
• Afternoon shows improved to 19.43%.
• Evening shows registered 19.72%.
• Night shows closed at 16.36%.

Key markets such as Hyderabad, Warangal, Guntur, Vizag, and Telugu screens in Chennai contributed to the Sunday numbers, with Chennai touching nearly 39% occupancy.
