K-pop sensation BTS is gearing up for a major comeback with a new album set to release early next year, followed by a world tour. The seven-member group, reunited after completing South Korea’s mandatory military service, shared the exciting news during a livestream on their official superfan platform, Weverse.

“Hey guys, we are back,” BTS member Jimin said during the 30-minute event, which drew over 7.3 million real-time viewers. The upcoming world tour will be the group’s first in nearly four years.

BTS leader RM revealed that the band will work on their next full-length album in the United States and other countries. This will mark their first major album since 2020.

Since debuting on June 13, 2013, BTS has been at the forefront of the global K-pop phenomenon, known for music that resonates with youth empowerment and social messages. The group paused their global activities in 2022 to fulfill their military service obligations but now is ready to return to the world stage with fresh music and performances.
