The management agency of South Korean actors Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin who have been together for more than ten years, announced on Thursday that the couple is going to get married. The wedding will take place in a private setting in Seoul next month.

The statement by AM Entertainment confirmed the report and said that the couple had decided to get married after a long relationship built on trust. “Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin have committed to being partners for life. The wedding will be a private affair with family, relatives, and close friends,” the agency mentioned.

The agency asked the fans to support the couple on their new journey and pointed out that both the stars are going to keep up with their professional commitments.

Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin crossed paths for the first time in 2015 while shooting a commercial together and the relationship came to light in the same year. The couple has kept their life mostly private, making appearances at only a few events. The pair's connection was especially deepened when Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017, which he later overcame, with Shin Min Ah being a constant source of support.

Among the numerous international accolades, Shin Min Ah has received accreditation for her role in hit dramas like A Love to Kill, My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho, Oh My Venus, and the widely acclaimed Hometown-Cha-Cha-Cha. She has also worked on No Gain No Love (2024) and Our Blues (2022) as her most recent projects. In addition, she is confirmed to cast as Empress Navier in the Disney+ fantasy romance The Remarried Empress.

The name of Kim Woo Bin has become synonymous with the characters he played in The Heirs, Uncontrollably Fond, and the Alienoid series. His upcoming venture is the 2025 Netflix fantasy romantic comedy Genie, Make a Wish, where he plays Iblis, a genie of a thousand years who gives wishes to Ka-young (Bae Suzy). The couple's reunion on screen approximately ten years after Uncontrollably Fond is anticipated as the series is set in the fantasy world of magic and wishes.
