As per the information shared by the Los Angeles City Council, the “Brady Bunch” has now become a Los Angeles historic landmark. The members of the council voted for it and Los added it into the Angeles pop culture landmark. This home is located in Studio City. It was featured in the renowned sitcom “The Brady Bunch,” which aired in around ‘70s.

However, “The Brady Bunch” was filmed on a Paramount sound stage. According to HGTV, the home was purchased in 2019. The crews renovated the interior to match the set of the show.

Situated in The San Fernando Valley, the mid-century residence was built earlier in 1959. It is designed by architect Harry Londelius Jr. However, the majority of the interior scenes for the sitcom were filmed on sound stages at Paramount Studios. Moreover, the house’s exteriors were used in the opening of the show and establishing shots. Meantime, the home received reorganisation to generations of viewers and became a popular attraction for fans visiting Los Angeles.

The project was recreated with the help of the sitcom’s iconic design elements. The addition is made with a floating staircase and a unique 1970s-style kitchen. The home looks like the homes that appeared in movies and TV shows.

Now, the house is owned by a historic-home enthusiast named Tina Trahan. She has occasionally opened the property to the public for guided tours and special events. It lets the fans experience a piece of television history directly.

With its new historic monument, the Brady Bunch house is now in safe zone from demolition or major changes. Nothing can be done without official review. City leaders say the recognition of the LA cultural heritage monument speaks about the television landmarks. It makes sure that the amazing symbol of American pop culture will be preserved for future generations.
