Hyderabad: At its Annual General Board Meeting, Gradiente Infotainment Ltd. announced a landmark Rs50 billion (Rs5,000 crore) investment over the next three years to strengthen India’s creative economy and expand into Middle East and North Africa (MENA) markets. The initiative is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Orange Economy roadmap, which emphasises culture, creativity, and media as vital growth engines for India.
Announcing the investment, Dr Vimal Raj Mathur, Chairman & Managing Director, said: “India’s Orange Economy represents our next growth revolution, and we are proud to contribute meaningfully to this movement. Our investment will focus on scalable media ventures, global storytelling, and promoting India’s creative industries worldwide.”
Dr Mathur, who was recently honored with the “Jewel of India Award” in Washington DC (July 2025) for his contributions to promoting India globally, outlined the company’s roadmap to becoming a key player in global creative industries.
Currently valued at Rs3.5 billion, Gradiente Infotainment operates across film production, OTT platforms, music, and digital entertainment. Its upcoming pan-India film ABHAYA will spotlight women empowerment, while the newly launched Gradiente Asian Fashion Tour India aims to build international collaborations in fashion and showcase Indian talent abroad.
The company has also initiated Mr. Ms. Mrs. Maharashtra, a unique platform for beauty and talent promotion, with plans to scale the concept nationwide to create new stages for emerging creators.
