HIT 3 Box Office Collection Day 2: Nani’s crime thriller sees sharp dip after strong debut

After a thunderous start at the box office, HIT 3, the third installment of Sailesh Kolanu’s popular crime thriller franchise, saw a notable slump on its second day. Starring Nani as SP Arjun, the film raked in an impressive ₹21 crore (India net) on its opening day, driven primarily by Telugu audiences.
However, the momentum didn’t carry forward. On Day 2 (Friday), the box office collection dropped by over 52%, slipping to ₹10 crore. By 3 PM on Saturday (Day 3), HIT 3 had collected only ₹3.47 crore, pushing the total India net collection to ₹34.47 crore in three days.
Industry tracker Sacnilk reported that the Telugu version continued to lead the revenue, with minor contributions from Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam versions.
Despite a gripping storyline and a strong cast—featuring Nani, Adivi Sesh, Srinidhi Shetty, Rao Ramesh, Niveta Thomas, and Brahmaji—the film is now struggling to maintain its early momentum. Comparisons are being drawn with other intense action thrillers like Animal (2023), Marco (2024), and Kill (2024).
Will HIT 3 manage to bounce back over the weekend? All eyes are now on the Sunday numbers.
