Hyderabad’s cinema scenario will undergo a tremendous change with the opening of several new multiplexes by January 2026. Residents of the city will get more places to go for watching movies in the main locations, thus increasing their access to entertainment.
At RTC X Roads, Odeon Mall will be the venue for a new multiplex managed by PVR INOX with 8 screens. Due to the location being in the middle of the city, this is likely going to be a point of attraction for a large number of moviegoers.
Kukatpally Y-Junction is also going to get another PVR INOX multiplex at Lakeshore Mall. This place will have 9 screens and a wide variety of films plus premium viewing for the audience in the western part of the city.
In the rapidly expanding area of Kokapet, Allu Cinemas is going to popularize a multiplex of 4 screens, making the neighborhood a convenient place for entertainment.
For people travelling to or living near the airport, Shamshabad's Aparna Mall is going to set up a 7-screen multiplex with a start date of March 2026. Local crowds and tourists will be the target of this expansion.
