Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan, has seen a disappointing run at the box office, barely crawling past the ₹100 crore mark globally after seven days. The period action drama, which was mounted as a high-stakes release, has grossed approximately ₹87.50 crore in India and an additional ₹13.50 crore (USD 1.6 million) from international markets.

The film opened to underwhelming reviews and weak audience reception, leading to a sharp drop in collections post its debut. While there was a brief spike in numbers on Sunday—especially in Andhra Pradesh—it proved to be too late to salvage its theatrical performance. By Monday, collections had already crashed, and with the release of the much-anticipated Kingdom, Hari Hara Veera Mallu began rapidly losing screens and footfalls.

The underperformance of the film marks another box office misfire for Pawan Kalyan, one of the most influential stars in the Telugu film industry. Despite his massive fanbase, the actor has struggled to deliver a consistent commercial hit in over a decade. Though Bheemla Nayak had moderate success, it too fell short due to unfortunate release timing and external factors.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is also a reflection of the broader challenges facing the Telugu film industry in 2025. With very few successful films this year and an overall lacklustre box office performance—barring a brief Sankranti high—the industry continues to search for a strong theatrical revival. This downturn follows a similarly troubled 2024, which at least saw a handful of major hits spaced across the calendar year.

The film's total worldwide collection now stands at around ₹101 crore. The domestic gross includes earnings of ₹78.50 crore from the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region, with ₹28.25 crore coming from Nizam, ₹10 crore from the Ceded region, and ₹40.25 crore from Andhra. Other markets like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and the rest of India contributed marginally to the overall earnings.

Internationally, Hari Hara Veera Mallu grossed around USD 1.175 million in North America and USD 425,000 from other territories, including the Middle East and Australia. Despite these figures, the film has largely underperformed considering the scale of the production and the stature of its lead star.

As it exits most theatres within its second weekend, Hari Hara Veera Mallu will likely be remembered more for its missed potential than for its cinematic impact.
