Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2024 Winners: Kalki 2898 AD Bags Best Film, Allu Arjun Named Best Actor

The Government of Telangana has officially unveiled the winners of the inaugural Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2024, named in honor of the legendary revolutionary poet and singer, Gaddar. The announcement was made on May 29, ahead of the grand award ceremony scheduled to take place on June 14 at HICC, Izzatnagar, Hyderabad.
This marks a new chapter in recognizing cinematic excellence in Telangana after the discontinuation of the Nandi Awards post the 2014 bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The newly instituted awards aim to celebrate outstanding achievements in Telugu cinema and restore transparency in the recognition process.
Jury and Selection Process
The awards were decided by a 15-member jury chaired by veteran actress Jayasudha, which reviewed an impressive 1,248 nominations across various categories. The categories ranged from best films and performances to technical excellence and even literature on cinema.
