BTS fans are buzzing with concern after eagle-eyed ARMY members spotted what appears to be an injury on SUGA's palm during the group's first full livestream in nearly three years on July 1. The livestream, which confirmed BTS' plans for a full-group comeback in Spring 2026, marked SUGA's first public appearance since completing his alternative military service.

During the Weverse live broadcast, where the members playfully discussed their upcoming album, leader RM spontaneously uttered a common music show phrase, "wait for a while." This prompted the other six members to instinctively extend their hands, a common gesture. However, SUGA noticeably refrained from participating in the action.

While initially seeming like nothing, a closer look by fans during a later goodbye wave revealed what some are describing as "folded skin" or a scar on his palm. The alleged injury has sparked widespread worry among the fanbase, with many wondering if it was sustained during his alternative military duty.

Neither SUGA nor his agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, has yet commented on the speculation.

SUGA completed his 21-month social service as part of his alternative military duty on June 21. His return to the spotlight also follows a previous incident on August 6, 2024, where he was detained for an alleged electric scooter DUI, resulting in a 15 million won fine. He publicly apologized for the incident and has since offered another apology to fans via a note on his personal Weverse account, promising occasional updates.

Prior to the recent livestream, SUGA was seen attending fellow member Jin's solo concert on June 29 alongside Jungkook and Jimin, and also updated his Instagram story for the first time in two years.
