Dhurandhar Box Office Day 10: Ranveer Singh’s Biggest Blockbuster, Surpasses Padmaavat

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar continues its sensational run at the box office, rewriting records with every passing day. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has now emerged as the highest-grossing movie of Ranveer Singh’s career, overtaking Padmaavat. By Day 10, Dhurandhar crossed the ₹350 crore mark at the domestic box office.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned ₹59 crore net on its tenth day, marking its highest single-day collection so far. This came after a strong Day 9 haul of ₹53 crore net, reflecting an impressive growth of over 11 percent. With this, the film’s total India net collection stands at ₹351.75 crore.
With these figures, Dhurandhar has officially dethroned Padmaavat (₹302.15 crore) to become Ranveer Singh’s top-grossing film. It has also comfortably surpassed his other major hits, including Simmba, Bajirao Mastani, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Gully Boy.
The film recorded an overall occupancy of 76.84 percent on Day 10. While morning shows began on a moderate note, footfalls surged during the afternoon and evening shows, which touched nearly 90 percent occupancy in several centres. Night shows also maintained strong attendance.
By region, Delhi-NCR was the front-runner along with the highest number of screenings and strong occupancy, with Mumbai being the nearest competitor. Ahmedabad and Pune surfaced as vigorous contributors, while Bengaluru was the winner in the southern market boasting the highest total occupancy among the major cities.
The release of the movie was accompanied by controversies but that did not stop the film’s box office performance from being spectacular. The movie, after its ₹28 crore opening, gradually gained a little less than a crore throughout the first weekend and eventually, it was ₹207.25 crore at the end of the first week. The second weekend saw a tremendous spike, resulting in the film crossing the ₹350 crore landmark with just 10 days of its release.
Dhurandhar has now set its target to the ₹450 crores in the global box office and still has the momentum of a runaway train. With the likes of Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun in addition to Ranveer Singh, the film has successfully placed itself amongst the greatest hits of the year. The next installment, Dhurandhar 2, has already been announced with a release next year.
