Devara 2 Shooting to Start Soon, NTR to Join After Dragon
NTR will juggle Dragon, War 2, and Devara 2 over the next year. Production for Devara sequel expected to begin soon.

Actor N.T. Rama Rao Jr., currently occupied with director Prashanth Neel’s action film Dragon, is expected to wrap the bulk of production work by the end of 2025. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in June 2026.
Before that, NTR will shift focus to promoting War 2, his upcoming action thriller set for release later this year. The nationwide promotional tour will demand significant time from the actor ahead of its theatrical debut.
Meanwhile, work is progressing behind the scenes on Devara 2, the sequel to the yet-to-be-released Devara. Director Koratala Siva has reportedly completed the script. However, production is on hold until NTR finalizes availability.
Despite concerns among fans over the timeline, sources close to the production say there will be minimal delay. As Devara 2 is jointly produced by Kalyanram’s NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, it remains a high-priority project for the actor.
Official shooting timelines are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The film will see the return of Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in their original roles. Composer Anirudh Ravichander is once again onboard to handle the soundtrack.
Additionally, NTR has committed to future projects with directors Trivikram Srinivas and Nelson Dilipkumar, suggesting a packed slate through 2026 and beyond.
