Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh’s De De Pyaar De 2 posts a strong Tuesday jump, taking its total box office collection to ₹41.25 crore.

Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh's De De Pyaar De 2, which is the duo's latest film, is maintaining its gradual but sure Indian box office run. Anshul Sharma is the director of the movie, which, on its first Tuesday, made ₹4.50 crore, and that was a 20% rise when compared to Monday's statistics. The total domestic collection of the movie so far is ₹41.25 crore.
The film had an opening day Gross of ₹8.25 crore on Friday and then the weekend of strong push made its total for three days to ₹33 crore. Although there has been mixed audience for the rom-com genre in recent years, the sequel is treading the path very much like the original from 2019—however, the experts from the industry say that due to inflation and the franchise's advantage, higher collections would have been the least expected.
To maintain momentum, the film needs to hold steady through Wednesday and Thursday. A stable weekday trend could give it a stronger platform heading into the second weekend. While the movie may fall short of achieving a “hit” verdict, avoiding a flop in the current box office climate is increasingly valued.
With no major releases until “Dhurandhar”, De De Pyaar De 2 is expected to close its first week at around ₹45 crore, giving it a chance to stretch its run further.
