On its second Saturday, Rajinikanth's action thriller Coolie roared back at the box office with a huge 70% jump, putting it on track to break into the ₹500-crore club early next week. The movie has already surpassed the lifetime earnings of two high-profile releases, Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki and Salman Khan's Tiger 3.
Day 10 Worldwide Box Office Collection for Coolie
Coolie saw a dramatic increase in earnings on Day 10 following a steady but slower run during the week. In India, the movie made ₹10 crore net on Saturday, almost twice as much as it made the day before (₹5.85 crore). In ten days, this increased its domestic revenue to ₹245 crore net (₹291 crore gross).
The movie is still doing well abroad, with an estimated $21 million (₹177 crore) in receipts. After ten days, this raises the movie's total earnings to ₹468 crore.
