Prasads Multiplex Hyderabad has urged moviegoers not to bring children to screenings of films rated ‘A’ (Adults Only), including Rajinikanth’s upcoming release Coolie.
The cinema said that entry for ‘A’ certificate films is strictly limited to viewers aged 18 years and above. Patrons must present valid government-issued proof of age to gain admission.
The management stated that the rule applies to all such films without exception, and is in line with certification guidelines.
The advisory comes a day before the theatrical debut of Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, which opens nationwide on Aug. 14. The film has drawn significant attention across India, with heavy advance bookings reported in major cities.
Prasads officials reiterated that the request is intended to ensure compliance with film certification laws. “For A-rated films, entry is permitted only to adults who can show valid age proof,” the statement said. The multiplex also appealed to parents to avoid bringing minors to these screenings.
