Superstar Rajinikanth’s action drama Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has launched on Prime Video in its Hindi version, titled Coolie: The Powerhouse. The Hindi dubbed release comes eight weeks after the film’s theatrical premiere.
The film, which features an ensemble cast including Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Rachita Ram, and Shruti Haasan, also includes special cameo appearances from Bollywood stars Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde. Despite high anticipation, audience feedback noted that the storyline and writing did not meet expectations, although the film registered notable box office collections.
Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, Coolie boasts music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, adding to the film’s high-octane appeal. Last month, the South Indian language versions became available on Prime Video, and now the Hindi-speaking audience can access the dubbed edition through the streaming platform.
