Despite government restrictions, several theatres and fan clubs are allegedly exploiting demand, with prices in many South Indian cities far exceeding official rates.
Nationwide and international advance bookings have hit record levels, while in Tamil Nadu, where early morning screenings are banned since 2023, fans are travelling to neighbouring states to witness the celebrations. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are expected to host early shows with higher ticket prices once official approval comes through, while Kerala and Karnataka have already lined up 6 am screenings. In Bengaluru, single-screen tickets are touching ₹2,000, while multiplex rates hover around ₹500.
