Rajinikanth’s Coolie crosses ₹260 crore in India despite a sharp fall in collections on Day 12.

Despite experiencing its sharpest decline at the box office on its second Monday, Rajinikanth's action-packed gangster drama Coolie has reached the ₹260 crore milestone in India. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed movie has managed to hold its own against War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, although weekday box office receipts are dwindling.

The Times of India gave the movie a rating of 3.5 out of 5, complimenting Lokesh Kanagaraj's directing and Rajinikanth's charisma. The second half impressed with powerful cameos, twists, and intense action, while the first half was criticised for being overly fan-service-heavy.
