DVV Entertainment, a major Telugu film production company, is now embroiled in a fresh legal dispute concerning ticket pricing for the film OG and a controversial social media post.

The controversy began when petitioner Barla Mallesh Yadav challenged a government order that permitted cinemas to charge higher prices for OG tickets. The Telangana High Court had earlier granted a suspension of the government memo, but the relief applied exclusively to Yadav’s petition.

Following this, DVV Entertainment posted a satirical message online, jokingly offering Yadav a Rs 100 discount and inviting him to watch the movie despite the ongoing case. While the post gained significant attention on social media, it also drew criticism.

Yadav objected to the post, stating that the matter is still under judicial consideration. He described the producer’s comment as sarcastic and disrespectful toward the court’s ruling. Yadav added that such online remarks compromise the integrity of judicial processes and announced plans to file an additional case against the production house.
