Former Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal's ex-wife Dhanasree Verma has come under fire. She said that she cried in court during the divorce. In a recent interview, choreographer Dhanasree Verma made sensational comments. She was particularly angry about the T-shirt that Chahal wore to court on the day of the divorce.
Even though I keep crying
She spoke about the divorce in a podcast for Humans of Bombay on YouTube. Dhanashree revealed that she got emotional in court during the final hearing .
"I still remember when the verdict was going to be given. Even though I was mentally well prepared, I got very emotional. I started crying in front of everyone. I couldn't even express my feelings at that time. I kept crying. But it all happened. He ( Chahal ) walked out in front of me," said Dhanashree.

On the last day of the divorce proceedings, Yuzvendra Chahal came wearing a T-shirt with the words 'Be Your Own Sugar Daddy' written on it. Reacting to this, Dhanashree said that she was surprised. She said that if he wanted to tell her something, he should have told her in person instead of showing it off in public.
“You know people will blame you. We knew people would blame me for this T-shirt stunt even before I knew it happened. Are bhai, WhatsApp kar deta. T-shirt kun pehana hai? (You should have sent it on WhatsApp. Why did you wear the T-shirt),” Dhanashree said.
Wedding in 2020
Chahal and Dhanashree got married in Gurugram in December 2020. The two met when Chahal asked Dhanashree to give them dance lessons during the Covid-19 pandemic. According to their petition, they have been living separately since June 2022. On February 5 this year, they filed a joint petition for divorce by mutual consent in the family court. They were granted their divorce in March this year. During the trial, there were also rumors that Dhanashree was demanding Rs 60 crore as maintenance. However, Dhanashree's family denied those claims.
