Shah Rukh Khan has been named the fourth richest actor in the world, according to the latest global ranking released by Esquire. The Bollywood icon stands as the only Indian figure on the international list, with an estimated net worth of $876.5 million (Rs 7,500 crore), surpassing several prominent Hollywood stars.
As per the publication, Khan's wealth puts him ahead of George Clooney ($742.8 million), Robert De Niro ($735.5 million), and Brad Pitt ($594.2 million). The top three spots are held by Arnold Schwarzenegger ($1.49 billion), Dwayne Johnson ($1.19 billion), and Tom Cruise ($891 million).
Among Indian celebrities, Khan leads by a significant margin. Financial estimates from industry reports reveal that Salman Khan’s net worth stands at approximately Rs 2,900 crore, Hrithik Roshan at Rs 3,100 crore, Akshay Kumar at Rs 2,500 crore, and Aamir Khan at Rs 1,900 crore. Notably, actress Juhi Chawla is reported to hold assets worth around Rs 4,600 crore, positioning her second among Indian actors in terms of wealth.
Shah Rukh Khan also owns a Gulfstream G550 private jet, valued at $61.5 million, used regularly for domestic and international travel. Outside of acting, he holds stakes in multiple business ventures, including his production house Red Chillies Entertainment and co-ownership of cricket franchises across leagues.
In 2023, Khan’s career witnessed a commercial resurgence with Pathaan and Jawan, collectively generating over Rs 2,000 crore in worldwide revenue. He was last seen in Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Currently, he is preparing for King, an action film directed by Siddharth Anand, which begins production in June 2025. The film is expected to feature Suhana Khan and Deepika Padukone in major roles, with Abhishek Bachchan also part of the cast. The movie is set for release in 2026.
In an earlier interview, Khan recalled earning his first paycheck of Rs 50 for assisting at a Pankaj Udhas concert, long before his transition from television to the silver screen. He debuted on TV with shows like Fauji, Circus, and Wagle Ki Duniya, before making his Bollywood entry in the early 1990s.
