"Buried Hearts” soars to new heights as it enters its final week

On April 5, the series starring Park Hyung Sik reached its highest viewership ratings yet, drawing even more attention as it enters its final week. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode recorded an impressive nationwide average rating of 14.6%, making Buried Hearts the top-rated miniseries of the week.

It also dominated among the coveted 20 to 49 age demographic, scoring an average rating of 3.6% and becoming the most-watched show on Saturday in that viewer group.

Over on JTBC, The Art of Negotiation—featuring Lee Je Hoon—also saw a personal best for a Saturday episode. As the drama heads into its final two weeks, it pulled in a strong 6.9% nationwide rating, a notable uptick for its Saturday slot.

KBS 2TV’s For Eagle Brothers also had a standout night, achieving its highest Saturday ratings to date. With a robust 18.6% nationwide viewership, the show maintained its position as Saturday’s most-watched program across all genres.

Meanwhile, tvN’s The Potato Lab saw a dip in numbers ahead of its finale, falling to an average nationwide rating of 1.2%.

As these dramas head toward their final chapters, the ratings race is heating up—setting the stage for some dramatic conclusions next week.
