BTS' SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook Fly to Los Angeles to Join RM for Spring 2026 Comeback Album

BTS is officially gearing up for their highly anticipated spring 2026 comeback. Following the completion of their military service in June, the group announced plans to work on a new album—and now the members are starting to reunite.

After RM departed for Los Angeles on July 6, SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook were spotted at Incheon International Airport the following day, seemingly en route to join their leader in the U.S. The sighting comes just days after the group confirmed they’re beginning work on new music.

SUGA Makes First Public Appearance Post-Military and DUI Apology

This airport appearance marked SUGA’s first public outing since completing his 21-month alternative military service and issuing an apology earlier this year over a DUI incident involving an electric scooter. Dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt, loose brown pants, and a beanie, the rapper kept his face masked and avoided engaging with the press.

Jungkook, Jimin Reunite with SUGA at Airport

Jungkook arrived separately but warmly greeted Jimin and SUGA with bows and handshakes, sharing a light moment before heading into the airport. Jimin and Jungkook have remained close throughout their service, even enlisting together as “buddy soldiers.” Fans were thrilled to see their strong bond continue, with reports that they’ve also completed filming Season 2 of their travel show Are You Sure?!, rumored to feature RM this time.

Group Comeback in the Works

RM had earlier confirmed that BTS plans to work on their comeback album in Los Angeles. While Jin is currently on a solo tour, the rest of the group is expected to regroup in the U.S. soon for their spring 2026 return.
