In a moment that sent fans into a frenzy, BTS member Jin made a surprise appearance during Coldplay’s concert in South Korea, part of their Music of the Spheres world tour. The special collaboration quickly lit up the internet with fan-shared clips and emotional reactions.

The highlight of the night came when Jin joined the British rock legends on stage and performed his beloved tracks The Astronaut and My Universe. The moment was made even more memorable as Jin held up a playful sign that read, “Pick me, please. Can I sing The Astronaut with you?”

In response, Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin theatrically read the message, knelt on stage, and was matched by Jin with a respectful kneel of his own. What followed was a powerful and heartfelt duet that had fans cheering and emotional in equal measure.

In another lighthearted moment captured on video, Chris Martin playfully declared, “We are Coldplay, the second-best band in the world. BTS may be number one, I think!” Jin humbly responded, “Oh no! I don’t think so,” sparking cheers from the crowd.

The conversation soon turned nostalgic, with Chris warmly saying, “We missed you, man. You’ve been in the military, but you still look so handsome. Look at this beautiful man.” Jin replied, “We performed together two years ago. Before I went to the military, my last performance was with Coldplay. And now, my first concert after returning is with Coldplay again.”

Fans can look forward to more from Jin, as he is preparing for his solo comeback. His second studio album Echo is set to release on May 16, following his successful debut solo album Happy, which dropped last November.

Coldplay will continue their tour with more shows in South Korea before heading off to North America and Europe, with stops in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
