Jin, the eldest member of BTS, has returned with his sophomore solo album titled ECHO, which debuted with the lead single “Don’t Say You Love Me.” The album features seven tracks, including collaborations and a variety of musical styles that highlight Jin’s vocal versatility and storytelling ability.
Alongside the title track, ECHO includes songs like “Nothing Without Your Love,” “Loser” featuring YENA, “Rope It,” “With the Clouds,” “Background,” and “To Me, Today.” The album explores themes of love, heartbreak, and self-reflection through rich instrumentals and band-driven arrangements.
Since its release, ECHO has topped iTunes charts more times than any other K-pop album in 2025, surpassing BLACKPINK Lisa’s Alter Ego. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Jin’s solo career.
In a preview shared last month, Jin described ECHO as a reflection of common life experiences and emotions that are often hard to express, aiming to connect deeply with listeners.
Fan responses across social media have been overwhelmingly positive. Many praised Jin’s vocal performance and emotional depth, with some noting his consistent record-breaking achievements as a solo artist.
Jin’s solo career began with his debut EP *Happy* released in November, which reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and included “Running Wild,” his second solo entry on the Billboard Hot 100 after “The Astronaut.”
Following the success of ECHO, Jin announced his first solo world tour, #RUNSEOKJIN-_EP.TOUR, set to start in South Korea this June. The tour will cover nine cities worldwide, including stops in Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Amsterdam, with multiple shows in each location.
Jin is scheduled to perform his new album live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 21, ahead of the tour kickoff.
