Mahavatar Narsimha Maintains Blockbuster Run
Released on July 25, 2025, Ashwin Kumar’s animated fantasy drama Mahavatar Narsimha—produced by Kleem Productions and presented by Hombale Films—has exceeded expectations. The film, depicting Prahlad’s unwavering devotion to Lord Vishnu, has grossed ₹180.90 crore in India within 19 days, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
Saiyaara Crosses ₹321 Crore
Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has emerged as a blockbuster, earning ₹321.35 crore in 26 days. Made on a budget of ₹50–60 crore, the YRF production collected ₹1.50 crore on its fourth Tuesday, slightly higher than the previous day’s ₹1.35 crore. The film currently holds an IMDb rating of 6.6.
Kingdom Slows After ₹50 Crore Mark
The Telugu spy action thriller Kingdom, featuring Vijay Deverakonda, crossed ₹50 crore at the domestic box office, reaching ₹51.29 crore. On its second Tuesday, the Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial recorded 12.46% Telugu occupancy and earned ₹0.28 crore.
Son of Sardaar 2 Sees Weekday Uptick
Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur’s action comedy Son of Sardaar 2 earned ₹1.28 crore on Day 12, up from ₹1.1 crore the previous day. The film’s total domestic collection now stands at ₹44.38 crore. The ensemble cast also includes Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Kubbra Sait, Neeru Bajwa, and Deepak Dobriyal.
Dhadak 2 Continues Weak Run
Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s Dhadak 2, a remake of Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018), has collected ₹21.65 crore in 12 days. Directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions, the romantic drama clashed with Son of Sardaar 2, impacting its performance.
