Involved with piracy and illegal distribution of 21,000 films among other activities, Immadi Ravi's ways abruptly changed or at least, so he said when many questioned his intentions. The cook soon after getting released decided to work on a restaurant, which would offer food in full compliance of law and earn him an honest living.

The Cyber Crime Police in Hyderabad, assigned to investigate, also heard him confirm his wish from his true self. As many as five cases were brought against Ravi in Hyderabad until now.

Police Custody and Investigation Updates.

Ravi was arrested initially in just one case but was taken into custody twice-under warrant and court order-for routine and additional questioning. In yet another case, the police had filed a petition for an order of Prisoner's Transit Warrant for his custodial transfer. The Cyber Crime team has already arranged this process for two cases and is gearing up for it in the remaining three. The authorities noticed substantial difference in Ravi's behavior at his first arrest.

From the Pirates to Their Hands

Official sources say that Ravi was trying to justify his illegal activities based on the grounds of ticket prices from the films, professional actors' salaries, and similar issues. Nonetheless, he has now got an assurance not to pirate any movies in the future. Ravi went on to say that he aspires to enter into the food business and wants to open a restaurant in either Hyderabad or his home town, Vishakhapatnam, for a safe and lawful life.

Referrings to the family and reflections were made on a very personal note.

Ravi confessed his sins, and pleads for reconnection with his father, Chinna Apparao. Once his wife left him, he decided to live all alone and told out his concerns for the settler and ailing health of father Chinna Apparao, sharing a promise that he would look after his father and rebuild his life.

Court Proceedings Today

The cinema video piracy case is listed for a hearing today before the Nampally Court. The police have already interrogated him during their second round of police custody for eight days. They are now seeking custody again to get a grip upon the remaining four cases. Today, the above-referred petition will come before the Joint Court; only after that is concluded will the court consider Mr. Ravi's bail plea.
