Bollywood Action-thriller Raid 2 Release on Netflix : Ajay Devgn’s eight films to cross the ₹200 crore mark

Ajay Devgn’s action-thriller Raid 2 completed its 22nd day in theaters on Thursday. Following Chaava, it has become the second Bollywood film of the year to cross the ₹200 crore mark in global box office collections.

Raid-2 produced by Panorama Studios and T-Series is ready to complete a three-week run in theatres today. As per data from industry tracker Saclink, the Rajkumar Gupta-directed film earned ₹1.65 crore net in India on its 21st day. This added the film’s total domestic box office collection to ₹155.18 crore net. A drop of 26.67% was noticed on Wednesday, following a 21.62% increase the previous day. Raid 2 has become Ajay Devgn’s eight films to cross the ₹200 crore mark. The film continues to perform strongly at the box office, holding its ground even after the release of Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning last week.

Raid 2 Crosses ₹200 Crore Worldwide

The film, which portrays a gripping political power struggle, has garnered ₹211.75 crore gross worldwide within 21 days. This total includes ₹27.15 crore gross from overseas markets. As reported by OTT play, streaming giant Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights for the film. Following the trend set by major Hindi releases, the movie is expected to premiere on Netflix after completing a 60-day (or 8-week) theatrical run.
