On May 29, during a special showcase event in Hollywood, Sony Music Vision revealed a slate of upcoming music-driven film projects. Among the most anticipated was the official announcement of Lisa’s untitled documentary, described as a deeply personal and cinematic exploration of her journey.

Director Sue Kim, best known for The Last of the Sea Women, appeared at the event to share insights on the production. Filming has spanned more than a year and aims to capture Lisa in a raw, authentic light. Rather than centering solely on performance footage, the documentary will delve into Lisa’s personal milestones, her upbringing in Thailand, and the challenges she’s faced on the path to stardom.

Executive producers include Alice Kang and Joojong Joe for LLOUD, as well as Peter Edge, John Fleckenstein, and Camille Yorrick from RCA Records. Sony Music Vision executives Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener, and Abby Davis are also attached to the project. The film will be distributed globally by Sony Music Vision in partnership with RCA Records.
