Bigg Boss Telugu 9: Bharani Shankar Eliminated After Earning Highest Remuneration of the Season

The last elimination in the Telugu Bigg Boss season nine has disclosed the names of the last five contestants. The grand finale is near, and Tanuja, Kalyan Padala, Immanuel, Demon Pawan, and Sanjana Galrani are yet to compete for the cash prize, which will be given on December 21.

In the weekend episodes, Suman Shetty was sent home on Saturday, while the actor Bharani Shankar faced elimination the following day. It should be pointed out that Bharani, who had previously been reintroduced to the house this season, is reported to have the highest salary of all the participants.

Bharani was among the most recognizable faces in the house and his presence was seen as very profitable from the monetary aspect of his participation.Sources suggest that he was paid over Rs 3.5 lakh per week by the makers. Bharani was initially eliminated in the sixth week, during which he is said to have earned more than Rs 21 lakh.

However, his journey didn’t end there. Bharani made a re-entry into the Bigg Boss house in the eighth week and continued for another six weeks. With the same weekly remuneration, he reportedly earned an additional Rs 21 lakh during his second stint.

In total, Bharani Shankar is said to have pocketed around Rs 42 lakh as remuneration, making him the highest-paid contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu 9. Despite his elimination before the finale, Bharani has created a record this season with his impressive earnings.
