🔥 Main Highlights
Full Review of Day 87
- Bharani beats Demon in a very important activity.
- Demon disqualified from inability to reach the first finalist.
- Five people are left in the competition.
- Demon's arrogance turns against him.
- Demon was oozing confidence before the task commenced. His open challenge to all made it quite clear that he would not give up and the first finalist's place will be his. However, the forces of destiny had different plans for him.
- Sanjana and Tanuja were the first two contestants to be eliminated from the first finalist race, thereby leaving six remaining contestants in the house competing for the three spots. Then, Bigg Boss invited the group to select three players who would continue the fight. Kalyan, Demon, and Suman Shetty were chosen.
- They were assigned the Power Cards Task where planning is as vital as brawn. Demon got better of Kalyan and Suman Shetty and took a big lead.
- When the question of his next opponent arose, Demon pointed at Bharani—reckoning to get back for his previous defeat.
Why did Demon select Bharani?
Although he had the option of picking Reethu, Demon decided on Bharani instead. The reason appeared to be rather straightforward:
He was under the impression that to beat Bharani would not be that difficult.
He had lost to Bharani and Tanuja in a previous task.
By going through Bharani he wanted to be one step ahead in the race.
But he totally misjudged Bharani which turned out to be Demon’s major blunder.
Tanuja Gives a Friendly Push to Bharani
Just before the contest, Tanuja came forward to lend Bharani her emotional support. The words of Tanuja really pumped him up:
“Whatever the game is, give your 100%.”
“Don’t lose hope—perform in such a way that everyone is shocked.”
“I knew Demon would challenge you today.”
Was this pep talk sufficient, it raised the bar of Bharani’s confidence just before the important task.
Bharani Unmasks Demon's Violent Plan
Bharani before the game told Suman that Demon had earlier told Tanuja he would resort to brute force if that became necessary.
Bharani cautioned:
“Be wary — he might try to overpower you physically.”
“Yesterday he was blocking both players and winning through force.”
This made the task even more exciting.
The task: “Build the Bridge, Hold the Victory”
The turning point had come in the "Vaaradhi Kattu – Vijayam Pattu" with Tanuja as sanchalaka.
Here is the sequence of events:
Bharani using the wooden planks very soon built up his bridge.
Demon was having a tough time setting his planks, claiming they were not compatible.
Bharani crossed the bridge at once, deposited the sacks on the table, and got the victory with no points against him.
The emotional win against the strong opponent left Bharani crying.
Demon, on the other hand, maintained that his planks were broken. But Tanuja checked them by herself—and demonstrated they were quite usable, thus revealing Demon’s plea as just a ruse.
Demon's defeat meant that he was eliminated from the finalists' race.
🏆 Competing Contestants for the First Finalists
The number of contestants in the race has been reduced to five:
- Emmanuel
- Bharani
- Suman Shetty
- Kalyan
- Reethu
Thursday’s episode will see a Colours Task between Bharani, Reethu, and Kalyan, the winner of which will be the next finalist.
