Rohit Shetty laughs as comedian Pranit More roasts him during Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar.

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty took over hosting duties from Salman Khan on this week’s Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar, bringing a mix of stern advice and high-energy entertainment. The latest promo from JioHotstar shows Rohit introducing fun tasks and allowing comedian Pranit More to roast him live on stage.
Pranit More Takes a Dig at Rohit Shetty
In the promo, Rohit gives Pranit full freedom to perform a stand-up act on him—something the comedian has previously done with stars like Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn. Pranit cracked jokes about Rohit’s action stunts and his 2015 film Dilwale.
He joked,
“Rohit sir is the perfect Khatron Ke Khiladi host—he jumps off moving cars. But the biggest danger was spending ₹100 crore on Dilwale.”
Rohit playfully corrected him, laughing, “₹150 crore.”
Pranit continued the roast, adding that Rohit respects the police so much he puts them at the centre of all his movies, but the police respect him even more:
“When there’s a checkpoint, it’s Rohit sir checking vehicles, and the police tell him, ‘Let us go, sir.’”
The remarks left the housemates and Rohit in splits.
Rohit’s Epic Revenge: Shock Task for Pranit
Rohit Shetty, known for his dramatic flair, responded with a hilarious twist. As part of a special Weekend Ka Vaar task, he strapped shock bands to contestants’ arms, delivering jolts after each question.
Looking at Pranit, Rohit declared:
“Salman ka, Shah Rukh ka, Ajay ka… sabka badla lega tera Shetty!”
sending the comedian into a mock panic as the shocks kicked in.
What Else Happened in Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar?
The episode was packed with confrontations and guidance:
Rohit pulled up Amaal Mallik and Shehbaz Badesha for calling the show biased.
He advised Ashnoor Kaur to play individually.
Asked Farrhana Bhatt to control her language.
Praised Malti Chahar for taking strong stands.
Supported Gaurav Khanna for choosing captaincy during the ration task.
Bigg Boss 19 streams daily on JioHotstar at 9 PM and airs on Colors TV at 10:30 PM.
