Bigg Boss 19: Bharani Criticizes Kalyan’s Game Strategy with Tanuja

This week's episode of Bigg Boss witnessed the housemates getting an impressive and difficult task to get up the leaderboard and come one step closer to the finale. The competition got more heated among Demon, Emmanuel, Tanuja, Bharani, and Suman Shetty with Kalyan being a confirmed finalist. Sad to say that Sanjana got ousted from the competition due to her poor score.

The task was as eccentric as it was enjoyable—contestants were dressed in oversized pants and had to grab the balls thrown by the host, with each catch contributing to their score. The catch? Bigg Boss presented it as a group game, thus, teamwork and strategy were just as important as the individual’s talent.

Kalyan’s Strategy and Tanuja’s Advantage

As it was predictable, Kalyan’s game plan greatly benefitted Tanuja, throwing her a greater number of balls to increase her score. On the other hand, Emmanuel was being supported by Sanjana, while Suman Shetty, who was at the back, found it hard to catch up as balls kept on rolling nearer and nearer to him. Bharani even shrewdly used his stature as a means of getting the balls redirected to him, which in turn added a whole new dimension to the game.

It was not just about the contestants' physical prowess—their game revealed who was close to whom, who was receiving extra favors, and what strategies were being employed. For while Kalyan appeared to be the one calling the shots as a leader in the task, the critics within the house pointed out that he was becoming more and more under Tanuja’s spell, doing what she wanted and modulating his playing style accordingly.

Housemate Reactions and Drama

The game caused a lot of discussions and conflicts among the players. Sanjana contested some of the ball throws, arguing that she was trying to be fair to everyone. In contrast, Tanuja made the most of Kalyan's backing, thereby fortifying her position in the contest. Bharani did not hesitate to mention that Kalyan was behaving more like Tanuja's helper than a neutral game leader, a view which was concurred by the other housemates.

It was not unnoticed that although Kalyan is a finalist and has the power to sway the tasks, aligning too much with Tanuja might turn out to be a wrong move, depriving him of his image as a plotter and possibly linking him to her fate.

The nearing finale and the previous week’s task have already exposed the house ties, tactics, and dynamics. Kalyan’s choices will be monitored—whether he acts wisely and retains his authority or lets Tanuja take over will probably decide the end.
