Big B joins OG as Pawan Kalyan's on-screen father

Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan is preparing for his upcoming film, OG, directed by Sujeeth, known for helming the Prabhas-starrer Saaho. While Kalyan takes the lead in the film, he is currently occupied with his involvement in the Andhra Pradesh elections. Exciting news has emerged that Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in to play a pivotal role in OG.

OG marks Pawan Kalyan's latest venture and has garnered immense anticipation, particularly after it was revealed that he would portray a gangster in the movie. The film gained further allure with the announcement that Emraan Hashmi would make his Telugu debut by starring in an antagonist role.

The hype for OG escalated when Tamil actor Arjun Das expressed his astonishment after witnessing some visuals from the film through Sujeeth. In a tweet, he praised, "Sujeeth Sir was kind enough to show me a few visuals from OG yesterday, and I'm truly blown away. Ravi K Chandra sir's visuals, Pawan Kalyan Garu's screen presence, swag, and dialogues... All I will say is - Pawan Kalyan Garu's fans assemble." Now, the inclusion of Amitabh Bachchan in the film has elevated the excitement even further among fans.

A Pawan Kalyan fan page on Instagram recently shared a post claiming that Amitabh Bachchan would portray the role of Pawan Kalyan's father in OG. The fan page, along with the news, shared a picture of Amitabh meeting with Pawan Kalyan on the sets of the 2019 film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which also featured megastar Chiranjeevi.

Certain reports circulating on social media have speculated about the leaked title of Pawan Kalyan's film OG. A fan page suggested that the movie might be titled Ojas Gambheera. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.

Apart from Pawan Kalyan, OG also features Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shriya Reddy, Arjun Das, and Prakash Raj. The film is scheduled for release in December 2023. Additionally, Kalyan is gearing up to star alongside Sai Dharam Tej in the film Bro.
