Theatrically, the Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Grand Epic, a re-edited version of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion into a single film, is still running but has started generating lesser interest after a strong start. The Prabhas-starrer had released on October 31 and is now somewhere close to touching the ₹20 crore mark in the domestic market.

Baahubali: The Epic Box Office Collection Day 3

According to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, Baahubali: The Epic collected ₹2 crore (net) on Day 3 in India (as of morning shows). The total domestic collection now stands at ₹19.9 crore.

The film witnessed mixed audience turnout across regions — while the Telugu version saw 39.27% occupancy, the Tamil version performed the strongest with 45.89%. However, the Hindi version struggled, recording just 11.32% occupancy during the morning shows, indicating limited appeal among North Indian audiences.

Box Office Recap: A Strong Start, Then a Slowdown

The film opened with ₹1.15 crore from Thursday previews, largely driven by Telugu audiences.

Day 1 (Friday): ₹9.65 crore — with ₹7.9 crore from Telugu, ₹1.35 crore from Hindi, and ₹0.5 crore from Tamil.

Day 2 (Saturday): ₹7.1 crore — marking a 26% drop from its opening day.

Day 3 (Sunday, early estimates): ₹2 crore — total so far ₹19.9 crore (net domestic).

While Baahubali: The Epic began with a promising run, the enthusiasm appears to have waned over the weekend, especially in Hindi-speaking markets.

About Baahubali: The Epic

Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works, Baahubali: The Epic merges both original parts into a single, re-edited feature film with a runtime of 225 minutes—thus giving it an edge of being an especially lengthy film over the Indian film length standards.

The epic story revolves around Prabhas playing an immensely crucial double role along with Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Nassar, Sathyaraj, and Adivi Sesh. The re-release tinkers with certain sequences for cohesion in narration, leaving the base story of the Mahishmati power struggle and the rise of Amarendra Baahubali intact.

The film’s worldwide box office figures are expected to be released soon.
