Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection Day 1: Tiger Shroff’s Action Thriller Opens Strong With ₹12 Crore

On September 5, the day of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, Tiger Shroff's eagerly anticipated Baaghi 4 debuted in theatres to a resounding reception. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the action-packed thriller, which was directed by A Harsha and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, made an astounding ₹12 crore net on Day 1 in India.

Exceeds Trade Forecasts

Sumit Kadel, a film trade analyst, had projected that Baaghi 4 would debut between ₹9 and 11 crore. But the film surpassed those projections, and Tiger Shroff had his best solo debut since the pandemic.

Adding to the momentum, pre-sales from advance bookings alone brought in about ₹7.75 crore on the first day of operation, demonstrating the high level of interest in the franchise's fourth installment. On Friday, the movie's overall Hindi occupancy rate was 28.32%.

Protected OTT Rights

Baaghi 4 signed a lucrative contract with Amazon Prime Video, which purchased its post-theatrical streaming rights, even before it made its theatrical debut. After its theatrical run, the film is anticipated to make its OTT debut.

Conflict at the Box Office

Tiger Shroff's fan base and the film's intense action scenes helped Baaghi 4 attract enormous crowds despite competition from The Conjuring: Last Rites and The Bengal Files.

In addition to Tiger Shroff, the film stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir.

With a runtime of 157 minutes, Baaghi 4 had to undergo 23 cuts before receiving an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) due to its intense and gory action sequences.
