In a shocking incident on Wednesday, American actor Charlie Sheen faced an attack at his Malibu residence. The assailant, identified as a neighbor, attempted to strangle the 'Two and a Half Men' star. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department promptly responded to a battery-disturbance call, reaching Sheen's residence around 1 pm.

Upon arriving at the scene, authorities arrested Electra Schrock, a 47-year-old woman, on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and residential burglary. According to reports, Schrock forcefully entered Sheen's home after ringing the doorbell. The assailant allegedly attempted to strangle Sheen and tore his shirt during the altercation.

While the specific weapon used in the attack was not disclosed by the police, Sheen, 58, received on-site medical attention from paramedics. Fortunately, he did not require hospitalization. Schrock was taken into custody and was scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Representatives for Charlie Sheen have not yet provided a statement regarding the incident. The actor, renowned for his role in 'Two and a Half Men,' has also made notable appearances in films such as 'Wall Street,' 'The Three Musketeers,' and 'Major League.' The assault marks a concerning turn of events for the Hollywood veteran, and the legal proceedings against Schrock are expected to unfold in the coming days.
