Tollywood admirers are waiting for the release of Akhanda 2, the much-talked-about sequel to the 2021 hit Akhanda with Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu as the director, and counting days to it. Already planned paid premiere shows in India have made the situation more electrifying.
Government of Andhra Pradesh has approved a ticket price hike for the movie's opening which is going to be a big boost. The new ticket rates will be applicable from December 5 and the grand premiere shows between 8 PM and 10 PM will be of Rs 600 (including GST) in all theatres.
The ten-day hike in ticket prices adds Rs 75 for single screens and Rs 100 for multiplexes; thus, Rs 222.50 is the estimated cost in single and Rs 277 in multiplexes.
In addition to powerful drama and action the film also includes the performances of Samyukta and Aadi Pinishetty in key roles. With the grand premieres and higher ticket prices, Akhanda 2 is sure to have a blockbuster opening, which will attract the audience who are eager to watch the new chapter in Balakrishna's legendary saga.
