Story
Balamuralikrishna, also known as Balakrishna, a powerful MLA from the Rayalaseema region, is a loving father to his daughter Janani, who is a 17-year-old genius and dubbed as a scientist in the making. In the meantime, an outside threat is coming up as the Chinese government is making a plot to bring India down with the aid of the corrupt politician Thakur, who is played by Kabir Singh. The hitting hard at the very root of Sanatana Dharma is their plan.
It is at this very moment that the strong and heavenly Akhanda (Balakrishna) comes back into the picture. The way he unravels the plot and saves Dharma is what the whole story is about.
Screenplay & Direction
Boyapati Srinu is nothing but himself with his usual methods—mythology-mass elevation. Akhanda 2 does not rely on a complex plot or storytelling with many layers; it rather lives and thrives on the overwhelming presence of the actor Balakrishna and the super cool actions.
The first half creates the ground, but it is the coming of “Akhanda” before the interval that makes the movie electric. From that point onward, the story goes like a rocket, with Thaman’s fiery background music as the driving force.
In the movie, Boyapati combines religion, chanting Sanskrit, and powerful dialogues, giving Balakrishna the part as the sole actor capable of producing such a dynamic performance. The movie delves into and ascertains the issues of God and belief, during its course, giving the viewers extensive moments, weeping scenes, and a shocking guest appearance that is sure to make one's spine tingle.
