Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest release Akhanda 2: Thaandavam has completed a strong opening weekend at the box office, crossing the ₹60 crore mark in India within three days of release.

As reported by Sacnilk, a leading industry tracker, Akhanda 2 took in ₹15 crore net on Sunday hence its total net collection in India now stands at around ₹61 crore. The film started off very well on Friday, experienced a little drop on Saturday, and then had a smooth ride on Sunday before getting into the weekdays.
Beating Kingdom, Getting to 2025 Top 10

Occupancy Report: Telugu vs Tamil
The Telugu version Of Akhanda 2 opened with an occupancy of 51.77% on the third day. The night shows that had the highest attendance accounted for more than 70% of the audience. The top attendance was in Hyderabad, which had the most shows, followed by Bangalore and Vishakhapatnam.
The Tamil version, on the contrary, had the least audience; it could just get about 16% occupancy in total. Chennai was the only city where there were a good number of regional shows.
