Aggarwal described the news as "baseless" and "amusing" in a string of posts on her Instagram Stories and X (formerly Twitter). She cautioned her followers against spreading or believing such untrue information. "With God's grace, I would like to reassure everyone that I am doing well, safe, and completely fine. I respectfully ask that you not believe or spread such untrue information. Instead, let's direct our energies towards truth and positivity," she wrote.
The actress confirmed she was safe in a brief response to a media question from ETimes before making her social media statement.
