UAE Cos To Invest Rs 2K cr in TG, create 5,020 jobs

Hyderabad: Shaiva Group and Taranis Capital, both well-known global companies from the UAE, have signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with five firms based in Telangana. This partnership involves a total investment of Rs2,125 crore, which is expected to generate 5,020 job opportunities in the state.

The signing of these MoUs took place in the presence of IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

The five Telangana companies involved in these agreements are Revelations Biotech, Manakin Bio, Svobodha Infinity Investment Advisors, Exigent Drilling Technology Pvt Ltd, and Yentra Tech Controls.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sridhar Babu said the State government under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is fully committed to ushering in investments and creating meaningful employment opportunities for the Telangana youth.

Sridhar Babu stated that in just 18 months, the State government has filled over 60,000 government posts and attracted over Rs3 lakh crore investments. As a result, more than 1 lakh youth have secured jobs in the private sector, Sridhar Babu said.

“Today, we mark another significant milestone in this journey with the generation of 5,020 new employment opportunities for the youth of Telangana. Moreover, this is just the beginning. Over the next three years, Shaiva Group and Taranis Capital have expressed interest in investing an additional Rs24,000 crore in sectors such as biotech, AI, data centres, defence, energy, fintech, and public infrastructure,” the Minister said.

He stated that in the biotech sector, their focus will include innovations in low-sugar food solutions, anti-diabetic products, and food management technologies all aimed at improving global health standards.

“In the public sector, these companies are poised to invest in major infrastructure projects like Fourth City and the AI City,” Sridhar Babu said.
