‘Dhurandhar’ Storms Past ₹552 Crore: Ranveer Singh Delivers Career-Best Blockbuster
Dhurandhar storms past ₹350 crore at the box office, becoming Ranveer Singh’s biggest career hit with record-breaking domestic and overseas collections.
Ranveer Singh celebrates a career-defining blockbuster as Dhurandhar crosses ₹350 crore worldwide.

Ranveer Singh is now at the height of his profession with Dhurandhar, the film that has become his biggest success so far. The movie directed by Aditya Dhar has made a whopping ₹351.75 crore in India, surpassing all standards of box office performance with very few films to reach its level of popularity, consistent second-week growth, and huge international acceptance.
A Record-Breaking Domestic Run
Dhurandhar, which was released with great expectations, soon became a major box-office hit. The film started with the highest figure of ₹28 crores on the first day and then went on to make ₹32 crores on Saturday and ₹43 crores on Sunday. The film suffered a usual decline but still remained strong during the weekdays and averaged ₹27 crores per day from Tuesday to Thursday.
By the end of the first week, Dhurandhar had already brought in ₹207.25 crores and that prepared the ground for a wonderful second week. On Day 8, the film made history by raking in ₹32 crores—its highest-ever second Friday collection and the biggest second Friday of 2025—beating films like Chhaava and Kantara 2. This pushed the film past the lifetime India total of War 2.
Second Weekend Explosion
The momentum only intensified over the second weekend. The movie earned ₹53 crore on Saturday and an enormous ₹59 crore on Sunday, making its net total in India ₹351.75 crore. With this, Dhurandhar was officially in the ₹350 crore club, and it became Ranveer Singh’s most successful film, easily surpassing Padmaavat.
Theatrical experts have ascribed the movie's boom at the box office to the excellent narration, attractive personalities, and constant viewers' interest. The film's collections were described as "game-changing" by industry expert Taran Adarsh, who drew attention to the fact that the film not only broke second-weekend records but also outperformed a number of recent hits.
North America Sets New Benchmarks
Dhurandhar has not only conquered the Indian market but has also set a new overseas record, especially in North America, with the highest-ever collection of second Friday for an Indian film amounting to USD 929,781, thus breaking the long-standing record of Baahubali 2.
The North American release of the movie took off with an impressive first-day collection of USD 522,000, and the momentum continued through the weekends. Collections after the second weekend reached USD 7.88 million, which ended up making Dhurandhar the top-grossing Indian movie of 2025 in North America. In the process, it overtook Rajinikanth’s Coolie and other major releases of the year.
Strong Ensemble and Direction
The film not only features a dominating performance by Ranveer Singh but also has an excellent ensemble cast consisting of Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi and Gaurav Gera. Aditya Dhar’s directing has gained positive criticism for managing emotional intensity with enormity, thus creating a new habit of strong repeat viewing.
A Defining Moment for Ranveer Singh
Ranveer Singh with Dhurandhar has not just given the biggest blockbuster of his career but has also confirmed his box-office magnetism in India and even outside. The film, which surpasses franchise movies, breaks second-week record big and captures world cinema markets, is now one of the landmark movie successes of 2025.
Though still showing in theatres, Dhurandhar is a clear demonstration of how prolonged story-telling, audience attachment and star power can lead to box-office supremacy that lasts for a long time.
